Savannah - Thelma Mae Faircloth Mason, 85, passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at Memorial University Medical Center. She was born in Emanuel County and lived in Savannah 53 years. She retired after 33 years from Kmart and was a dedicated member of Bible Baptist Church. Her husband, Joseph Leonard Mason and daughter, Faye Mason Malone preceded her in death.
Surviving are children, Deborah J. Mason of St. Simons Island; Marcelle Godwin of St. Simons Island; Leonard Mason of Savannah; Tracy Mason of Brunswick; son-in-law, G.A. Malone of Statesboro; grandchildren, Bobby, Cassie, Dereck, Bryant, Kaycee, Kala, Mariah, Dillon, Hunter, McKenzie, Carson and Karleigh; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Brandon, Mark, Avery, Malone and Kaydence.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Reverend Tommy East officiating.
Burial: 3:30 p.m., Swainsboro City Cemetery, Swainsboro, GA.
